The cemetery is located at the top of a small hill next to some orchards. It is only a few blocks away from the Cashmere City Cemetery. It is well maintained and completely fenced in. Obituaries for this cemetery are on file at the Wenatchee Area Genealogical Society Library in Wenatchee.
David Treadwell and his family came to Mission, now known as Cashmere, in 1887 after spending the five previous years in Klickitat County. He purchased 160 acres of land from the Northern Pacific Railroad Company at ten dollars a acre. His daughter Ida became a successful school teacher in Mission.
From US Highway 2 (State Highway 97) turn at the N Division Street exit into Cashmere. Continue down N Division Street, it will turn into S Division Street. Continue down S Division Street until it forks. One half continuing up a steep hill the other going right onto Pioneer Ave. Take Pioneer Ave and continue past the Cashmere City Cemetery until you reach Wohlers Rd. Turn left onto Wohlers Rd. From Wohlers Rd turn right onto Hazel Place, follow this street. Look for the Briskell Treadwell Cemetery sign on a chain-link fence on the left hand side of the road. Turn left onto the dirt road after the sign. You will drive up a short dirt road to the cemetery. There is a place to turn your car around at the top of the hill.
