Stemilt Hill Cemetery

The Stemilt Hill Cemetery is owned by a private non-profit association called the Stemilt Hill Cemetery Association. The cemetery is very well maintained and has an installed irrigation system, fully fenced with gates and an overhead sign above the front gate reading “Stemilt Hill Cemetery”. Most of the grave markers are installed flush with the ground. Except the stones marking the Mathison Family plot and two others.

In Wenatchee get on Wenatchee Avenue and head South. Wenatchee Avenue will turn into Malaga-Alcoa Highway. Just after mile marker 3 on Malaga-Alcoa Highway take the next right onto Stemilt Creek Road. Continue up Stemilt Creek Road until mile marker 3. Stemilt Creek Road forks at mile marker 3, continue left onto Stemilt Hill Road. Not to far after mile marker 5 on Stemilt Hill Road look for a sign that says Hedges Road/Stemilt Hill Road, continue left. The cemetery is just a little farther on the right hand side of the road across the street from the Stemilt Hill Grange. The cemetery has no parking so you will have to park in the Stemilt Hill Grange's gravel parking lot. The entrance to the cemetery is through a chain link fence just across the street.
