Sunnyslope, WA

About five miles north of Wenatchee fifty-two members of the Church of the Brethren come from Cando North Dakota to Sunnyslope to settle the land.

Here are a few of these settlers. Amos B. Peters, his wife Barbara, and his three children Mary, Marvin, and Hiram. Dr. L. A. Miller and his family of five children. B. C. Holland, his wife, and three children. The Baughaman family with their eight children. O. A. Gordan family with two children M.S. Peters with his three children. J. J. Sharp with two children. Sam Neher, Jacob McMillen, and D. J. Coffin were the names of a few more of these settlers.
