The sign reads,
The Cannon Mine operated from 1985 through 1994 and produced 1.25 million ounces of gold and 2 million ounces of silver.
The Cannon Mine would like to thank all its former employees and the residents and businesses of the Wenatchee Valley for their support.
Dedicated to the memory of John Husband and George Duncan.
The Cannon Mine was a joint venture of Asamera Minerals (U.S.) Inc. and Breakwater Resources Ltd.
