The Cascade Loop is 400 miles of scenic highway that wraps around a stretch of the Cascade Mountains.
In North Central Washington the Cascade Loop continues down from Stevens pass along the Wenatchee River through Leavenworth and along side Cashmere and finally into Wenatchee and East Wenatchee.
The loop continues from Wenatchee up the Columbia River where you will travel by the Rocky Reach Dam, the city of Entiat, and Earthquake Point.
Continuing on the loop you will leave the view of the Columbia River as you drive over the Knapp Coulee into Chelan. For a longer more scenic route into Chelan you can take State Route 971 over the Navarre Coulee. The Lake Chelan portion of the loop includes Manson and Stehekin.
From Chelan, continue up the Columbia River until Pateros. Here take a turn up the Methow Valley and enjoy the great scenery as you travel alongside the Methow River and through towns like Twisp and Winthrop as you head back towards the Cascade Mountains.
The final part of the loop in North Central Washington will take you up the North Cascades Highway which will turn back into Chelan County for short while before heading back over to the west side of the state.
