The entrance to the Linden Tree Area, part of the Apple Capital Recreational Loop Trail (westside), is at the corner of 9th and Walla Streets in Wenatchee.
North of the parking lot the the loop trail heads down to a short wooden bridge over a small stream. From the bridge you will see a old barn to your right. A trial leads behind the barn and down to a small dock on the Columbia River. Up the trail from the barn are a few benches that look out over the river. A tree shaded area with picnic tables is on the left hand side of the trail. At the top of the small hill from the bridge are some restrooms and a drinking fountain.
