Silver Creek (at Entiat River) creates a beautiful waterfall as it flows down the Chelan Mountains into the Entiat River. The Forest Service has created the Silver Falls National Recreation Trail that allows a person to climb up the mountainside along Silver Falls. The trail starts across Entiat River Road from the Silver Falls Campground and splits part way up and loops back to itself allowing a hike to the top of the waterfall and back.
The 1.4 mile trail begins at an elevation of around 2,400 feet and the climb will take you to 3,000 feet. There are plenty of benches and places to rest at along the trail. Although the trail has barriers it is very steep in some areas and younger children should be well supervised.
