Wenatchee Valley Windstorm Photos

« Posted on Jan 10, 2007 »

A windstorm swept over North Central Washington on Sunday, January 7th, devastating the area.

The photos below were taken on the Tuesday after the storm. The damage stretched from neighborhood to neighborhood. Many, many houses have trees on or through them, too many to photograph each one. The damage at the local city parks was incredible. The damage at Washington Park was so extensive, it was hard to photograph as the debris was piled so high. A photo of the crushed car, with the tree still on it's roof, can be seen at the KPQ 560 AM News Talk website.
