Moses Coulee

Along State Route 28 between Rock Island and Trinidad is the turn-off for the Moses Coulee. The Moses Coulee runs along Badger Mountain and is a great drive with some amazing rock formations lining the coulee walls. The town of Palisades is along the coulee but is very small and has no gas station.

The paved entrance to the Moses Coulee is located along State Route 28 between the cities of Rock Island and Trinidad. From State Route 28 turn East onto Palisades Road SW. The paved road will eventually end and turn into a gravel road past the city of Palisades.
