Rock Island Dam

The first dam on the Columbia River, Rock Island Dam is owned by the Chelan County Public Utility District and was constructed in 1933. Six additional units were completed in 1953 and a second powerhouse was completed in 1979.
Rock Island Dam is located along State Route 28, just Southeast of the city of Rock Island.
