Steamboat Rock is a large columnar, basaltic rock with a surface area of 600 acres on Banks Lake. Steamboat Rock is part of Steamboat Rock State park.
Steamboat Rock has Banks Lake on one side and the Devils Punch Bowl on the other. It is located along State Route 155 between Coulee City and Electric City.
