The Wanapum Dam was constructed in 1964 and features a recently remodeled Wanapum Dam Heritage Center Museum. For more information about the Wanapum Dam please visit Grant County Public Utility District website.
To reach the Wanapum Dam, head South on State Route 26 from Interstate 90 across the Columbia River from Vantage. Take the turn off from State Route 26 to State Route 243. Continue South on State Route 243 to the dam.
