Methow Valley

From the mouth of the Methow River in Pateros, State Route 153 follows along the river and up the Entiat Valley past the cities of Methow and Carlton. Just southwest of Twisp, State Route 153 meets State Highway 20, otherwise known as the North Cascades Highway. From this point the North Cascades Highway follows the Methow River through Twisp and on to Winthrop where the Methow Valley heads northwest by Mazama.

A short distance from the Mazama turn off the Methow Valley ends as the North Cascade Highway heads west towards the Cascades Mountains.
