Notes

Conconully Reservoir was created in 1919-1921 by damming Salmon Creek. Before the creek was dammed it was known as Salmon Lake. The reservoir is fed by North Fork Salmon Creek, which enters Conconully Lake just above the dam. The lake drains south into Salmon Creek to the Conconully Reservoir. The reservoir drains into Salmon Creek.

Both Conconully lake and reservoir are located in an area of steep-sided hills that have open forests of coniferous and deciduous trees. The reservoir area is especially popular with picnickers. Both water bodies total 760 water surface acres. Anglers will find rainbow trout, cutthroat trout and smallmouth bass.
